What is Your Organization Having a Hard Time Doing

I went on my Instagram and asked my followers "What is your organization having a hard time doing?" Here are a few tips for those struggling with receiving testimonies and funding.

Relationship building & testimonies:

Testimonies - Many times organizations are looking for stories to add to their site but what will your participants get from it and how are you going to make them feel comfortable? Not everyone wants to contribute to something they know nothing about. It's not enough to give "descriptions" about what you're looking for. Also, what will your participants get in return? If you're seeking stories from victims there's quit a few things you would need to take in considerations and you should make sure that they know remaining anonymous is an option.

Donations/Funding - If you are seeking funding, make sure you have a mission, vision, website and a clear aspect of what your organization does and is functioning. Grants are great for organizations that exist, has paper trail and actively assisting those who need your programs or services. Also, having a budget will assist where your organization needs to get funding from and how to go about it. Check out grantspace.org

I currently have services that will assist in these areas. You can check that out HERE and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email me at ashley@theenonprofit.com
